About us

Corporate gifting runs like an operation

GiftingGenie is a corporate gifting company built for Indian teams who have to make gifting happen on a date, on a budget, and at scale.

We started because good gifting kept failing on logistics, not taste. The shortlist was fine. The branding was fine. What broke was everything after the purchase order: a vendor who couldn't reach a tier-3 pin code, a batch of hoodies in the wrong sizes, an invoice that finance couldn't reconcile, a Diwali hamper that landed the week after Diwali.

So we stopped treating gifting as a creative brief and started treating it as an operation. We built the sourcing, the in-house branding floor, the warehouse and the software that ties them together — one accountable team from the first mockup to the delivery confirmation.

Today people, marketing and finance teams use us for onboarding kits, rewards and recognition, festive gifting and client appreciation. They get a curated catalogue with real bulk pricing and MOQs, a branded store their colleagues can order from, approvals and budget caps that hold, and one consolidated GST invoice at the end of the cycle. The gift is the visible part; the machinery behind it is what we actually sell.

What we stand for

Four things we don't compromise on

  • Restraint over noise

We'd rather ship one object someone keeps than five that end up in a drawer. Every range is edited down before it reaches you.

  • Dates we can hold

We quote lead times we can meet, and flag risk early. A gift that lands after the occasion is a failed gift.

  • Materials that last

Recycled and natural materials where they perform, plastic-free packaging as the default across the catalogue.

  • One accountable owner

A named gifting manager runs your account end to end. No ticket queues, no handoffs mid-program.

Our story

From a 2-person studio to a gifting platform

Every capability we added came from a program that was hard to run without it.

Nothing here was planned on a whiteboard. The warehouse exists because a client kept hiring in ones and twos. The branding floor exists because outsourced engraving cost us a launch date. The console exists because finance needed an audit trail we couldn't produce from a spreadsheet. Seven years on, that list of fixes is the product.

  1. 2019Two of us started out of a Bengaluru co-working desk, sourcing onboarding kits for startups who were tired of last-minute mug orders.
  2. 2020Remote hiring broke every assumption. We rebuilt around shipping single kits to home addresses instead of pallets to offices.
  3. 2021Opened our first fulfilment hub so clients could store kits with us and dispatch them the day a new joiner accepted an offer.
  4. 2022Brought branding in house — engraving, embroidery and foil — so mockups came back in hours and quality stopped depending on a third party.
  5. 2023Launched the gifting console with approvals, budgets, cost centres and reporting, after one finance team asked us for the tenth time who signed off on what.
  6. 2024Moved the whole catalogue to plastic-free packaging and published lead times we commit to, not lead times we hope for.
  7. 2026Running gifting programs for 140+ companies across 19,000 pin codes, with a named gifting manager on every account.

In their words

What clients say

  • We onboard 60 people a month across four cities. GiftingGenie turned that from a spreadsheet scramble into a dashboard we check once a week.

  • Budgets, approvals and GST invoices in one place. Finance stopped chasing us the quarter we moved over.
Rohit MenonDirector, Workplace Experience, Indus Labs
  • Diwali used to take three weeks of coordination. Last year we approved the hamper, uploaded addresses and were done in two days.
